Welcome to the Beginners Competition Web Page. The competition pieces set on this page follow on from the Saturday club schedule so that instruction and help will have been available at the Saturday Club preceeding the normal club meeting.

The beginners have two competition lists to choose from, the First Year Beginners list is for those who are really still learning their turning skills.

Second Year list is for those who have spent the past few months honing their skills at the Saturday club and who entered last years competitions.

Whichever list you choose to start from please continue using that list for the whole of the year 2011/2012. They will still be judged and the marks correlated as one set as Beginners. Please remember each piece is judged on its own merit, not against the piece submitted by another member.
