Welcome to the Beginners Competition Web Page. The competition pieces set on this page follow on from the Saturday club schedule so that instruction and help will have been available at the Saturday Club preceeding the normal club meeting.

| Feb | Sweet bowl largest diameter that you can turn comfortably on your lathe. |
| Mar | Design and turn your own candlestick (To contain Faceplate and spindle turning). |
| Apr | Sewing Needle Case. Guide Drawing 1, Drawing 2. |
| May | Lidded box with a plain lid. |
| Jun | One Apple and one Pear. |
| Jul | Egg & egg cup. |
| Aug | Piece as demonstrated by Paul Nesbitt in July. |
| Sep | Piece of turning to show off your abilities. |
